Mr. B.N. Garg is the Founder and Senior Partner of RKV Tax & Risk Advisory Services LLP, bringing over 38 years of distinguished experience in corporate laws, indirect taxation, and litigation. He is an esteemed member of the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana as well as the Bar Council of India, with a long-standing reputation for professional excellence and integrity.
He is widely recognized for his deep and practical expertise in Goods and Services Tax (GST), Customs, Excise, Service Tax, and Value Added Tax (VAT). Over the years, he has advised leading Indian corporates, public sector undertakings, and government bodies on complex taxation, regulatory, and compliance matters. His practice covers a comprehensive spectrum including advisory, litigation, compliance, and strategic tax planning.
Mr. Garg has also been actively involved in interpreting and applying international trade frameworks and multi-lateral agreements. His in-depth understanding of trade remedy laws and TRIPs has positioned him as a trusted authority in handling matters involving cross-border regulatory and trade-related complexities.
In addition to his advisory and litigation work, he is a respected thought leader in the professional community. He has served as the President of the Tricity Tax Bar Association (2015–2018) and continues to contribute by delivering lectures and sharing insights on indirect taxation and corporate laws at various professional forums.
His approach is centered around providing practical, solution-oriented, and preventive advisory—enabling clients to navigate evolving regulatory landscapes while minimizing risks and avoiding potential enforcement actions. Over the course of his career, he has handled numerous high-profile and high-stakes matters across the country and has represented clients in more than 8,000 cases before various quasi-judicial and judicial authorities, including Commissioners, Tribunals, and Advance Ruling Authorities, reinforcing his position as a leading expert in taxation and litigation matters.

He is a Associate Partner of the firm. He is a member of Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana and Bar Council of INDIA with 13 years post-qualification experience in the profession. He is also member of various other regional Bar Associations, He is also qualified forensic science expert. He is a litigating lawyer and has vast experience in different fields of law including constitution, criminal law, service law, consumer protection and corporate law. He frequently appears before different courts/commissions/tribunals including DRT & NCLT and other statutory authorities in both civil and criminal matters.
He has been on the High Court panel for PSPC Ltd., Co-operative Banks, Punjab Khadi Board, Oriental general Insurance and Anadigi Solutions P Ltd. etc. He has been regularly appearing before the P&H High Court and Supreme Court of INDIA. He has appeared and have experience of more than 1200+ cases of Criminal & Civil Matters.
