He is a founder member & Partner of the firm. He is a member of Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana and Bar Council of INDIA with 38 years standing in the profession. He has extensive experience in the field of Indirect Taxes and litigations. He has also been involved in offering advisory services on Indirect Taxes to various Private & Public Entities. He was President of Tricity Tax Bar Association for 2015 - 2018. He advises companies in all areas of taxation, Goods and Services Tax (GST), Customs, Excise, Service Tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), offering consulting, advisory, litigation and compliance services.
He has been involved in interpreting and applying various multi-lateral agreements at both national and international levels. He is considered as an authority in trade remedy laws and TRIPs and has handled several disputes between companies and Government authorities.
He regularly delivers talks on diverse topics in Indirect Tax Laws and corporate laws. RKV&A is well-known for its high ethical standards, quality work and transparency in all its business dealings. He provides advisory assistance to clients on classification, taxation, valuation and regulatory related issues and also represents them before various quasi-judicial and judicial bodies including Commissioners, Tribunal, Advance Ruling Authority, etc.
Over the years, He has appeared in several matters involving extremely high-stakes and/or wide ramifications across the country. His role encompasses advising clients on important issues to prevent any enforcement actions by the authorities. He is a Associate Partner of the firm. He is a member of Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana and Bar Council of INDIA with 9 years post-qualification experience in the profession. He is also member of various other regional Bar Associations, He is also qualified forensic science expert. He is a litigating lawyer and has vast experience in different fields of law including constitution, criminal law, service law, consumer protection and corporate law. He frequently appears before different courts/commissions/tribunals including DRT & NCLT and other statutory authorities in both civil and criminal matters.
He has been on the High Court panel for PSPC Ltd., Co-operative Banks, Punjab Khadi Board, Oriental general Insurance and Anadigi Solutions P Ltd. etc. He has been regularly appearing before the P&H High Court and Supreme Court of INDIA. He has appeared and have experience of more than 900+ cases of Criminal & Civil Matters.
